The authors analyse 3D singular integral equations, defined for an unknown electric field, arising from a class of electrodynamic problems. Under appropriate conditions, those singular integral equations are reduced to Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. Then, a discretization is suggested to be applied to the last type of equations in view to obtain a system of linear algebraic equations with a Toeplitz matrix and derive consequent information about their numerical solutions.
