The authors extend results of \textit{M. I. Knopp} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 607--632 (1974; Zbl 0292.10022)] and others, which adapted the classical case of the Eichler-Shimura isomorphism to the case of modular forms of real weight, to Jacobi forms for \(\Gamma^{(1,j)} := \Gamma \rtimes (\mathbb Z^j)^2,\) where \(\Gamma\) is a finite index subgroup of \(\text{SL}(2,\mathbb Z),\) acting on \((\mathbb Z^j)^2\) by right-multiplication. In particular, the authors recall the basics of Jacobi forms and define first parabolic cohomology of \(\Gamma^{(1,j)}\), culminating in an isomorphism between certain spaces of cuspidal Jacobi forms and parabolic cohomology of the group with coefficients in a suitable function space. Moreover, for \(j=1\) this isomorphism can be described explicitly, using special values of partial \(L\)-series attached to the Jacobi forms. The proofs in the paper are rather close along the lines employed by earlier authors.
