The positive half \(\mathfrak{W}^+\) of the Witt algebra is a graded Lie algebra with generators \(L_m\), \(m\geq -1\) and relations \([L_m,L_n] = (n-m)L_{m+n}\). It acts on the polynomial algebra \(\mathbb{Q}[x]\) via \(\hat{L}_m=x^{m+1}\partial_x\). The action can be extended to several variable polynomials \(\mathbb{Q}[\mathbf{x}]\) using summation. This action is used to define a semidirect product \(\mathcal{W}^+_\mathbf{x}=\mathbb{Q}[\mathbf{x}]\rtimes \mathcal{W}^+\), where \(\mathcal{W}^+\) is the universal enveloping algebra of \(\mathfrak{W}^+\). Given an oriented framed link \(L\) with \(m\) ordered components, the authors associate an object \(_{\lambda}[ L ]\) in the bounded derived category of bigraded \(\mathcal{W}^+_{\lambda}\)-modules, where the variables \(\lambda_i\) are associated to the corresponding component \(L_i\) of \(L\) for \(i=1,\ldots,m\). The homology of the complex \(_\lambda[L]\) is isomorphic to the triple graded homology of \(L\) as defined in [\textit{M. Khovanov}, Int. J. Math. 18, No. 8, 869--885 (2007; Zbl 1124.57003)], hence the title of the paper. In the case of two-stranded torus knots and links the action is explicitly described.
