Let \(N\) be a positive integer. This paper deals with the study of mean-field \(N\)-vector models in the infinite limit for complete graphs. In the first part, large deviation principles for the total spin (with rate functions) and the empirical spin distribution (with relative entropies) for each non-negative inverse temperature are established. The main results include the following contributions: (i) limit theorems for total spin in each phase; (ii) a central limit theorem in the subcritical (disordered) phase for the total spin; (iii) a central limit theorem in the supercritical (ordered) phase for the total spin with a different scaling; (iv) a non-normal limit theorem for the total spin at the critical temperature. The proofs combine the non-normal Stein method, estimates for the free energy, and related analytic arguments.
