The authors consider an existence of steady states solutions for the Keller-Segel system in the multidimensional case with a rotational symmetry and the linear chemotactical sensitivity function on a smooth boundary in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\leq 3\). Certainly, the case of \(N>3\) does not any connection to the biophysical origin of the Keller-Segel system originated from the description of chemotactic motion of slime molds; however, it has its own interest as a purely mathematical problem connected with the methods of solution (and their existence) search for non-linear PDEs with the exponential function non-linearity.
