Semigeostrophic equations in physical space with free upper boundary (Q514270)

The purpose of this paper is to prove several similar theorems about the existence of solutions for the incompressible semigeostrophic system in a 3-D domain with free upper boundary. This extends the work in [\textit{M. Cullen} and \textit{W. Gangbo}, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 156, No. 3, 241--273 (2001; Zbl 0985.76008)] and is expressed in terms of Lagrangian flow. The proofs use Arzela-Ascoli theorem, Ambrosio theory, barycentric projection.
