In this paper, the authors treat a very interesting and important topic in geometry, namely one of the many links between ODE and the theory of curves and surfaces. They give necessary and sufficient conditions on the ODE to ensure that this curve is a proper embedding of infinite length or had total finite first curvature. The paper consists of 8 sections, in some of them, the authors present some important examples. In conclusion, the paper is well written and contains interesting results.
