The authors study the existence and asymptotic behaviour of \(W^{2,2}\)-solutions to \[ -\Delta_H u+H(\nabla u)^q+\lambda u=f\text{ in }\Omega, \] subject to \(u(x)\to \infty\) on \(\partial\Omega\). Here \(\Omega\subset{\mathbb R}^n\) is a bounded domain, \(H\) is a suitable norm in \({\mathbb R}^n\), \(\Delta_H\) is the Finsler Laplace operator, \(1<q\leq 2\), \(\lambda>0\) and \(f\in L^\infty_{\mathrm{loc}}(\Omega)\). The behaviour as \(\lambda\to 0\) is investigated by considering the associated ergodic problem.
