Let \(\Gamma\) be a finite disjoint union of smooth curves in the plane and \(\Lambda\) a subset of the plane. Following \textit{H. Hedenmalm} and \textit{A. Montes-Rodríguez} [Ann. Math. (2) 173, No. 3, 1507--1527 (2011; Zbl 1227.42002)], \((\Gamma,\Lambda)\) is called a Heisenberg uniqueness pair if there is no non-trivial bounded Borel measures \(\mu\) supported by \(\Gamma\), absolutely continuous with respect to arc length and whose Fourier transform vanishes on \(\Lambda\). The authors give a short overview of known results on Heisenberg uniqueness pairs. Then they ``investigate the Heisenberg uniqueness pairs corresponding to the spiral, hyperbola, circle and certain exponential curves''. Further, they ''work out a characterization of the Heisenberg uniqueness pairs corresponding to four parallel lines''. In the latter case, ``they observe a phenomenon of interlacing of three trigonometric polynomials''.
