A complex projective plane curve \(C\) is called a join-type curve with exponents the positive integers \((\nu_1, \dots, \nu_l; \lambda_1, \dots, \lambda_m)\), if it is defined by an equation of the form \(f(y)=g(x)\), where \[ f(y)=a\cdot\prod_{j=1}^l (Y-\beta_jZ)^{\nu_j}, \,\,\,\,\,\, g(x)= b\cdot\prod_{i=1}^m (X-\alpha_iZ)^{\lambda_i} \] \(C\) is said to be a \(\mathbb{R}\)-join-type curve if the coefficient \(a,b\), \(\alpha_i\), \(\beta_j\) are real numbers. The singular points of such a curve are the points \((x,y)\) for which \(f(y)=g(x)\) and \(f'(y)=g'(x)=0\); among them, those which also satisfy \(f(y)=g(x)=0\) are called \textit{inner singularities} and those for which \(f(y)\neq 0\) and \(g(x)\neq 0\) are called \textit{outer singularities}. For generic polynomials \(f\) and \(g\), the singular locus of the curve \(C\) consists only of inner singularities and the fundamental groups of (the complements of) such curves were considered by the second author in [J. Math. Soc. Japan 30, 579--597 (1978; Zbl 0387.14004)]. The semi-generic case was considered by the authors in the first part [in: Bridging algebra, geometry, and topology. Selected papers based on the presentations at the international conference ``Experimental and theoretical methods in algebra, geometry and topology'', Eforie Nord, Romania, June 20--25, 2013. Cham: Springer. 137--157 (2014; Zbl 1328.14052)]. In this paper, following similar pattern of proofs, the Authors compute the fundamental groups of a special class of \(\mathbb{R}\)-join-type curves with outer singularities, assuming a simple arithmetic condition on the exponents \( \nu_j\) and \(\lambda_i\) in the polynomials \(f\) and \(g\), without any (semi-)genericity condition.
