On the unique solvability of the boundary-value problems for Fredholm integrodifferential equations with degenerate kernel (Q521091)

The authors study the unique solvability of the boundary value problems for Fredholm integro-differential equations with degenerate kernel. Necessary and sufficient conditions for unique solvability is presented. The main aim of the paper is to establish a criterion for the unique solvability in terms of the initial data without using the fundamental matrix of the differential part of the integral equation considered. Some of the results given in the paper are from the work of \textit{E. A. Bakirova} [``Unique solvability of linear boundary-value problems for Fredholm integrodifferential equations with degenerate kerne'', DIF, 31--32 (2013)].
