    In this work the authors consider the following problem \[ \begin{cases} \frac{\partial \theta}{\partial t}+\frac{\partial \theta}{\partial x}=\frac{\partial ^2\theta}{\partial x^2}+\frac{\partial ^2\theta}{\partial y^2}+(y_{o}^{o}+n_{o})DY_{f}Y_{o}e^{-\theta_{a}/\theta},\\ \frac{\partial Y_{f}}{\partial t}+r_{s}\frac{\partial Y_{f}}{\partial x}=-y_{o}^{o}DY_{f}Y_{o}e^{-\theta_{a}/\theta},\\ r_{\rho}\frac{\partial Y_{o}}{\partial t}+r_{g}\frac{\partial Y_{o}}{\partial x}=\frac{1}{Le}(\frac{\partial ^2Y_{o}}{\partial x^2}+\frac{\partial ^2Y_{o}}{\partial y^2})-n_{o}DY_{f}Y_{o}e^{-\theta_{a}/\theta},\end{cases} \] where \(\theta,Y_{f},Y_{o}\) correspond with the temperature, mass of fuel and value of oxygen, respectively, \(y_{o}^{o}, n_{o}, D, \theta_{a}, r_{s}, r_{\rho}, r_{g}, L_{e}\) are positive numbers, and \[ \begin{cases} \theta\to\theta^{o},\;Y_{f}\to1,\;Y_{o}\to1, &x\to-\infty,\\ \frac{\partial \theta}{\partial x}\to0,\;\frac{\partial Y_{o}}{\partial x}\to0, &x\to\infty.\end{cases} \] They prove that the \(x\)-dependent solution \((\theta^{*}(x),Y_{f}^{*}(x),Y_{o}^{*}(x))\) of the problem and its first and second derivatives have a limit at infinity.
