This work analyses the entropy dissipation in the case of the Landau equation \(\partial_t f=Q(f,f)\) describing the charged particles distribution \(f\) in the case of the Coulomb potential included into the bilinear operator \(Q\). Two principal results are estimations from below for the entropy dissipation expressed in two forms: i) including the gradient of the particle distribution into the integrand of the integral estimator, and ii) without gradient terms (that is called as a variant of the Cercigniani conjecture).
