Hausdorff dimension in \(R\)-analytic profinite groups (Q524636)

The authors study the Hausdorff dimension in \(R\)-analytic profinite groups, where \(R\) is a pro-\(p\) ring whose associated graded ring is an integral domain with respect to the natural filtration induced by a standard open subgroup. They proved that for a closed subgroup \(H\) of an \(R\)-analytic profinite group \(G\) it does not depend on the choice of an open standard subgroup that allows them to introduce a notion of standard Hausdorff dimension of \(H\), \(\operatorname{hDim}_{\mathrm{std}}(H)\). The main result of the paper is the formula \(\operatorname{hDim}_{\mathrm{std}}(H)=\dim(H)/\dim(G)\).
