Shifted SSOR-like preconditioner for non-Hermitian positive definite matrices (Q526722)

The author constructs in the paper a shifted SSOR-like preconditioner assuming that the coefficient matrix \(A\) is non-Hermitian positive definite and has a strongly dominant Hermitian part over its skew-Hermitian one. He also derives tight spectra bounds of the preconditioned matrix, analyzes the eigenvectors of the preconditioned matrix for a particular case, and obtains the convergence conditions for the iteration matrix.
