This paper presents a further investigation into the properties of functions on compact convex subsets \(X\) of locally convex Hausdorff spaces and their restrictions to the set \(\partial_eX\) of extreme points of \(X\). In particular, this paper is concerned with the problem of when a function \(f\) on \(\partial_eX\) can be extended to \(X\) in a particular manner. To be precise, the paper is devoted to the proof that when \(X\) is a simplex and \(\partial_eX\) is Lindelöf, then any continuous bounded function \(f\) from \(\partial_eX\) to a Fréchet space \(F\) can be extended to a function that is the pointwise limit of a bounded sequence of continuous affine functions from \(X\) to \(F\). The paper, therefore, provides an interesting contribution to Choquet theory.
