The paper under review sharpens the nice tools introduced in part I of this study [Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 43, No. 3, 365--394 (2010; Zbl 1194.14060)]. In this way, better numerical bounds, some optimal under suitable hypotheses, are obtained on the volume and non vanishing plurigenera of smooth 3-folds of general type.
