This paper extends results of [\textit{M. Oberguggenberger, S. Pilipović} and \textit{D. Scarpalezos}, Math. Nachr. 256, 88--99 (2003; Zbl 1034.46037)], were new notions describing various aspects of the local behavior of elements in Colombeau algebras of generalized functions were introduced based on the intrinsically Colombeau-theoretic concepts of sharp topology and generalized points. In this paper, it is demonstrated that the sheaves of algebras of generalized functions \(\Omega \rightarrow {\mathcal G}(\Omega) \) and \(\Omega \rightarrow {\mathcal G}^{\infty}(\Omega)\) are open sets in the manifold \(X,\) are supple, contrary to the non-suppleness of the sheaf of distributions. The algebra \({\mathcal G}\) of generalized functions contains the Schwartz distributions space \(D^{\prime}\) as a subspace, so that all the linear operations on \(D^{\prime}\) are preserved within \({\mathcal G}.\)
