The scalar differential equation \(x''+f(t,x)=0\) is considered, where \(f\) is \(2\pi\)-periodic in \(t\) and \(x=0\) acts as an obstacle with elastic bouncing rule. Under a sublinear condition on the nonlinearity, the author proves the existence of a sequence of \(2k\pi\)-periodic bouncing solutions with uniform norm going to \(+\infty\) as \(k\to+\infty\). The proof is of variational nature and uses the non-smooth critical point theory developed by \textit{K. Chang} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 80, 102--129 (1981; Zbl 0487.49027)].
