This article continues the author's work on Siegel modular cusp forms of degree two. For the previous work we refer to [Tohoku Math. J., II. Ser. 33, 65--75 (1981; Zbl 0461.10019)], [J. Math. Soc. Japan 34, 393--411 (1982; Zbl 0476.10022)] and [Acta Arith. 81, No. 3, 265--274 (1997; Zbl 1011.11028)]. Let \(N\in 4\mathbb{N}\), \(\chi\) be a Dirichlet character modulo \(2N\), and \(k>5\) an even integer. Let \(S_{k-\frac12}(4N,\chi)\) denote the space of modular cusp forms for \(\Gamma_0(4N)\) of weight \(k-\frac12\) and character \(\chi\), and let \(S_k(\Gamma^{(2)}_0(2N),\chi)\) be the space of Siegel modular cusp forms for \(\Gamma^{(2)}_0(2N)\) of weight \(k\) and character \(\chi\). The main result in this article states that for \(f(z) = \sum_{n=1}^\infty a(n)e[nz] \in S_{k-\frac12}(4N,\chi)\), the map \[ \Psi(f)(Z) = \sum_{T\in P_2} \sum_{m| e(T)} \chi(m) m^{k-1} a(\frac{N(t)}{m^2}) e[\text{tr}(TZ)] \] is in \(S_k(\Gamma^{(2)}_0(2N),\chi)\), where \(P_2\) is the set of all positive definite matrices \[ T = \begin{pmatrix} n_1 & \frac{n_2}{2} \\ \frac{n_2}{2} & n_3 \end{pmatrix} \] for \(n_1,n_2,n_3\in \mathbb{Z}\), and \(e(T):= \gcd(n_1,n_2,n_3)\) and \(N(T):=4 \det(T)\). Further, a formula for the Fourier expansion of \(\Psi(f)\) at infinity is proven. This generalizes a similar theorem in [Zbl 0476.10022]. In addition, the relation between \(\Psi\) and Hecke operators is investigated.
