    A (distributive) lattice \(L\) is said to be semi-affine if there exist an additive action + of \(\mathbb R\) on \(L\), a multiplicative subsemigroup \(S\) of \(\mathbb R\) containing \(0\), and a multiplicative action \(\ast\) of \(S\) on \(L\) such that \(s\ast (r+f)=sr + s\ast f\) for each \(s\in S\), \(r\in \mathbb R\) and \(f\in L\). The authors find conditions under which a semi-affine lattice \(L\) is isomorphic to the lattice \(C(X)\) of real-valued continuous functions on a Tychonoff space \(X\).
