    The article deals with some new block iterative algorithm for finding common fixed points of a finite or infinite family of quasi-\(\phi\)-asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly smooth and strictly convex Banach space \(E\) with Kadec-Klee property and corresponding equilibrium problems. More precisely, let \(C\) be a nonempty closed convex subset of \(E\) and \(f:\;C \times C \to {\mathbb{R}}\) be a bifunction satisfying the conditions: {\parindent=10mm \begin{itemize}\item[(A1)]\(f(x,x) = 0\) for all \(x \in C\); \item[(A2)]\(f(x,y) + f(y,x) \leq 0\) for all \(x,y \in C\); \item[(A3)]\(\limsup\limits_{t \downarrow 0} \;f(x + t(z - x),y) \leq f(x,y)\) for all \(x,y,z \in C\); \item[(A4)]the function \(y \mapsto f(x,y)\) is convex and lower semi-continuous. \end{itemize}} Let \(\{S_i\}_{i=1}^\infty\) be an infinite family of closed, Lipschitz continuous, and uniformly quasi-\(\phi\)-asymptotically nonexpansive mappings from \(C\) into itself with \(k_n \in [1,\infty)\), \(k_n \to 1\). Suppose that \({\mathcal{F}} = \bigcap_{n=1}^\infty F(S_i) \cap EP(f)\) is a nonempty bounded subset in \(C\) (\(EP(f) = \{p \in C:\;f(p,y) \geq 0, \;\forall y \in C\}\)). The algorithm under consideration is described with the following system \[ \begin{cases} x_0 \in C \text{ chosen arbitrary,} \;C_0 = C, \\ y_n = J^{-1}\big(\alpha_{n,0}Jx_n + \sum_{i=1}^\infty \alpha_{n,i}JS_i^nx_n\big), \\ u_n \in C \text{ such that } f(u_n,y) + \frac1{r_n} \langle y - u_n,Ju_n - Jy_n \rangle \, \geq 0, \;\forall y \in C, \\ C_{n+1} = \{v \in C_n:\;\phi(v,u_n) \leq \phi(v,x_n) + \xi_n\}, \\ x_{n+1} = \Pi_{C_{n+1}}x_0, \;\forall n \geq 0, \end{cases} \] (\(J\) is the normalized duality mapping, \(\xi_n = \sup_{u \in F} (k_n - 1)\phi(u,x_n)\), \(\Pi_Q\) is the generalized projection of \(E\) onto the corresponding set \(Q\), \(r_n\) is a sequence in \([a,\infty)\), \(\alpha_{n,i}\) is a sequence in \([0,1]\) satisfying \(\sum_{i=0}^\infty \alpha_{n,i} = 1\) for all \(n\) and \(\liminf_{n \to \infty} \;\alpha_{n,0} \alpha_{n,i} > 0\) for all \(i \geq 1\)). The main result is the strong convergence of \(x_n\) to \(\Pi_{\bigcap_{i=1}^\infty F(S_i) \bigcap EP(f)}x_0\). At the end of the article, a numerical example is considered.
