Let \(\Omega\) be a domain in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) and \(\mathcal{H}(\Omega,d\mu)\) be a weighted Bergman space of holomorphic functions contained in \(L^2(\Omega,d\mu)\). Assume that \(g\) is a Lebesgue measurable function on \(\Omega\) satisfying that, for all \(F\) from a dense subspace of \(\mathcal{H}(\Omega,d\mu)\), \(gF\in L^2(\Omega,d\mu)\). Then the Toeplitz operator \(T_g\) with symbol \(g\) is defined by \(T_g F:=P(gF)\), where \(P: L^2(\Omega,d\mu)\to \mathcal{H}(\Omega,d\mu)\) is the orthogonal projection. In this paper, for some special symbols \(g\), the authors give some necessary and sufficient conditions on \(g\) such that the Toeplitz operator \(T_g\) is bounded on some Segal-Bargmann spaces in various contexts. These contexts include Fock spaces, Hermite and twisted Bergman spaces, and Segal-Bargmann spaces associated to Riemannian symmetric spaces of compact type. Moreover, let \(G\) be a Lie group, which includes the Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^n\), Heisenberg groups and compact Lie groups as special cases. Assume further that \(\Omega\) is invariant under the action of \(G\), \(B\) is the Segal-Bargmann transform on the group \(G\) and \(\mathcal{H}(\Omega,d\mu)\) is the image of \(L^2(G)\) under \(B\). By using Gutzmer's formula as the main tool, the authors identify a large class of symbols \(g\) for which \(B^{-1}T_gB\) reduces to Fourier multipliers on \(L^2(G)\).
