In this paper the interest of the authors is to study the question: ``For what positive integers \(n\) does there exist a nonassociative Moufang loop of order \(n\)?'' It is known that if all Moufang loops of order \(mn\) are associative, then all Moufang loops of order \(m\) (and \(n\)) must also be associative. The authors extend some results of \textit{O. Chein} and \textit{A. Rajah}, [Commentat. Math. Univ. Carol. 41, No. 2, 237-244 (2000; Zbl 1038.20045)], and prove that for distinct odd primes \(p_1,p_2,\dots,p_n\) and \(q\) all Moufang loops of order \(p_1p_2\cdots p_nq^3\) are associative if and only if \(q\not\equiv 1\pmod{p_i}\) for each \(i\).
