This paper extends certain computations of the author in [Algebra Number Theory 3, No. 1, 1--34 (2009; Zbl 1194.11073)] to the case of characteristic \(p\). In particular, the author uses a modified version of Kontsevich's \(1\frac 12\)-logarithm to give a dilogarithm function \(\mathfrak{Li}_2\) from the Bloch group over \(\mathbb{F}[\varepsilon]_2:=\mathbb{F}[\varepsilon]/(\varepsilon^2)\) into \(\mathbb{F}\) (where \(\mathbb{F}\) denotes an algebraic closure of the field of prime \(p>3\) elements). Along with the characteristic \(p\) incarnation of an additive dilogarithm first defined in [loc. cit.], \(\mathfrak{Li}_2\) is then employed to show that a certain complex computes part of the motivic cohomology of \(\mathbb{F}[\varepsilon]_2\) of weight 2. These dilogarithm functions are also used to describe the group of deformations of Aomoto dilogarithms over \(\mathbb{F}[\varepsilon]_2\).
