The authors study a single server retrial system with feedback, collisions and general retrial and service times. The retrial rate is assumed to be constant, that is only the ``head''-customer in the orbit attempts to access the server. (In other words, the FCFS orbit discipline is assumed.) Moreover, each customer, after completing the service, joins the orbit again with a positive probability. If an arriving customer meets a busy server, a collision may happen with a positive probability, in which case both customers join the orbit. An embedded Markov chain at departure/collision instants is studied. A stability condition is also given. All results are obtained in terms of Laplace-Stijeltjes transforms applied to the distribution of the main process using the supplementary variable technique.
