The paper studies the time evolution of a closed system of a quantum system of bosonic character with infinitely many particles. In other words, the author analyses the structure of one-parameter semigroups \(\{T_t\}_{t\geq 0}\) of quasi-free unital completely positive linear maps \(T_t\) on the \(C^*\)-algebra of canonical commutation relations, the CCR algebra. These algebras \(\mathcal{A}(S,\sigma)\) are modelled over a symplectic space \(S\) with a symplectic form \(\sigma\), and \(\{W(f)\}_{f\in S}\) denotes the generators of \(\mathcal{A}(S,\sigma)\) which satisfy the canonical commutation relations in Weyl form. The assumptions on \(T_t\) imply that there is a semigroup \(\{S_t\}_{t\geq 0}\) of linear mappings of \(S\) and a family of functions \(\Gamma_t:S\to\mathbb{C}\) such that \(T_t(W(f))=\Gamma_t(f)W_t(S_t(f))\) for all \(f\in S\) and \(t\geq 0\). The author constructs such semigroups and provides a characterization of \(\{S_t\}_{t\geq 0}\) under the assumption that the map \(t\mapsto\Gamma_t(f)\) is continuous and right-differentiable at \(t=0\) for every \(f\in S\). In addition, continuity properties of \(\{T_t\}_{t\geq 0}\) are established.
