Local smoothing estimates for some half-wave operators (Q542832)

There is a local smoothing conjecture for the wave operators which implies the cone multiplier conjecture and the Bochner-Riesz conjecture. Some papers have been written trying to improve given results concerning the involved dimension and the parameters. The authors extend the local smoothing estimates for the wave operator in [\textit{Y.-Y. Heo}, \textit{F. Nazarov} and \textit{A. Seeger}, ``Radial Fourier multipliers in high dimensions'', Preprint (2009; \\url{arxiv:0902.0943})] to a more general class of half-wave operators associated to nondegenerate convex hypersurfaces except for endpoints.
