In this short note, the author is interested in the behavior of the (normalized) Kähler-Ricci flow when the considered metrics belong to a class which is not ample. Let us consider a compact Kähler manifold \(X\) of complex dimension \(n\), \(\omega_0\) a Kähler form, and \(\omega_\infty\) a real smooth closed \((1,1)\) form with \([\omega_\infty]^n=1\). The main assumption of the paper is that \([\omega_\infty]\) is big and semi-positive. Let us consider the Kähler Ricci flow of forms \(\widetilde{\omega}\) associated to the Calabi problem \[ \frac{\partial}{\partial t}\;\widetilde{\omega} = -\text{Ric}(\widetilde{\omega}) + \text{Ric}(\Omega) -e^{-t}\chi \] where \(\Omega\) is a smooth volume form, and \(\chi=\omega_0-\omega_\infty\). This Ricci flow type equation is natural if one expects to solve the Monge-Ampère equation \[ (\omega_\infty + \sqrt{-1}\partial\bar\partial \psi)^n = \Omega. \] This Monge-Ampère equation has been studied by many authors, starting with S. T. Yau when the class \([\omega_\infty]\) is ample. Very recently, the work of \textit{P. Eyssidieux, V. Guedj} and \textit{A. Zeriahi} [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 64, No.~8, 1059--1094 (2010; Zbl 1227.32042)] proved that, under our main assumption, there exists a solution to this equation with continuous potentials using the viscosity method. In the paper under review, the author shows that \(\widetilde{\omega}\) converges weakly in the sense of currents and locally in \(C^\infty\)-norm away from a proper analytic subvariety of \(X\) when \(t\rightarrow +\infty\) to the unique solution of the degenerate Monge-Ampère solution. The proof is based on the control of the gradient of the derivative of the potential of \(\widetilde{\omega}\), using a natural energy functional associated to the flow. The paper is well written.
