The paper deals with the initial value problem for the inelastic Boltzmann equation for uniformly heated granular media. The main contribution is to re-write the collision operators by using the Fourier transform. By this way one can simplify the structure of this operator, and one can compute the kernel of the transformed operator so obtained.
