On an article by R. Brown (Q546212)

Let \(g(x)\) be a Generalized Schönemann polynomial with coefficients in a Henselian valued field \(F\) as defined by \textit{A. Bishnoi} and the reviewer [Commun. Algebra 38, No. 9, 3163--3173 (2010; Zbl 1203.12001)], {R. Khassa} and the reviewer [Manuscr. Math. 134, No. 1-2, 215--224 (2010; Zbl 1222.12002)], a root of which generates a tamely ramified extension of \(F\). In 2008, \textit{R. Brown} [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 39, No. 5, 403--410 (2008; Zbl 1245.11035)] gave a nice sufficient condition which ensures the existence of a root of \(g(x)\) in a finite extension \(K\) of \(F\) assuming the existence of an approximate root of \(g(x)\) in \(K\). In this paper, the author gives a refinement of the sufficient condition to obtain Brown's result.
