Let \(\Omega\subset X\) be an open convex set of the real Banach space \(X\) and let the space \(\mathbb{R}^n\) be partially ordered by a convex closed pointed cone \(K\subset\mathbb{R}^n\). Further let \(\alpha: \mathbb{R}_+\to \mathbb{R}_+\) be a nondecreasing function such that \[ \lim_{t\downarrow 0}\,{\alpha(t)\over t}= 0. \] The function \(f:\Omega\to \mathbb{R}^n\) is called strongly \(\alpha(\cdot)\)-\(K\)-paraconvex iff for all \(k\in r\)-\(\text{int\,}K\) there exists a number \(C\geq 0\) such that for all \(x,y\in\Omega\) and \(0\leq t\leq 1\) we have \[ f(tx- (1-t)y)\leq_K tf(x)+ (1-t) f(y)+ C\min[t,1- t] \alpha(\| x-y\|)k. \] In the main theorem of the paper it is shown that \(f\) is (a) Fréchet differentiable on a dense \(G_\delta\)-set provided \(X\) is an Asplund space, (b) Gâteaux differentiable on a dense \(G_\delta\)-set provided \(X\) is separable.
