The asymptotic bifurcation for a semilinear equation is investigated on the half-line. The bifurcation for the inverted problem is first analyzed. A sequence of compact approximations is defined and the bifurcation for the approximate problem is investigated in order to deduce some sequences for the solution sets. The existence of a continuum set of solutions bifurcating from infinity is obtained.
