In this paper, the authors consider Toeplitz operators with unimodular symbols on the Hardy space \(H^2\) on the unit circle \(\mathbb T\). Examples of \(\theta\) and a real function \(w\) such that \(\|w\|_{\infty}=\frac{\pi}{2}\) and the Toeplitz operator with symbol \(\theta e^{iw}\) is not left-invertible are given. The authors also discuss Toeplitz operators that are similar to isometries.
