Sidon sets in \(\mathbb{Z}\) (Q549555)

This is a small survey on elementary properties of Sidon subsets of \({\mathbb Z}\). In a second part, the author states, without proof, two of his own results [Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Math. Sci. 105, No.~3, 281--285 (1995; Zbl 0853.43012)] concerning the number of points in the intersection of a topological Sidon subset: first, of \(\mathbb R^m\) with a convex set; secondly, of \(\mathbb Q_p^m\) with a ball.
