    The author shows how to extend the Ramsey-theoretic characterization of the metric notion of strong measure zero to a Ramsey-theoretic characterization of Rothberger boundedness in uniform spaces. In particular, the author establishes that: {\parindent5mm \begin{itemize}\item[1.] Rothberger bounded subgroups of \(\sigma\)-compact groups are characterized by Ramsey partition relations (Corollary 4). \item[2.] For each uncountable cardinal \(\kappa\) there is a \(T_0\) topological group of cardinality \(\kappa\) such that ONE has a winning strategy in the point-open game on the group and the group is not a closed subspace of any \(\sigma\)-compact space (Theorem 8). \item[3.] For each uncountable cardinal \(\kappa\) there is a \(T_0\) topological group of cardinality \(\kappa\) such that ONE has a winning strategy in the point-open game on the group and the group is \(\sigma\)-compact (Corollary 17). \end{itemize}}
