Summary: We prove new fixed point and common fixed point theorems for generalized weak contractive mappings of integral type in modular spaces. Our results extend and generalize the results of \textit{A. Razani} and \textit{R. Moradi} [Bull. Iran. Math. Soc. 35, No.~2, 11--24 (2009; Zbl 1214.47054)] and \textit{M. Beygmohammadi} and \textit{A. Razani} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 2010, Article ID 317107 (2010; Zbl 1202.47058)].
