Hessian \(K3\) surfaces of non-Sylvester type (Q555577)

This paper studies a special family of cubic \(K3\) surfaces, known as Hessian \(K3\) surfaces of non-Sylvester type. Their period domain is a Spiegel upper half space of degree two, where a modular group acts with quotient a noncompact moduli space. The main result of the paper is a construction of modular forms on the period domain, which gives an isomorphism from the compactification of the moduli space to an explicit weighted projective space.
