    Let \(A\) be a unital \(C^{\ast}\)-algebra and let \(X\) be a~left Banach \(A\)-module. The mapping \(S:X\times X\times X^n\to A\) is called \textit{\(n\)-sesquilinear-quadratic} if \[ \begin{aligned} S(ax_1+bx_2,y;z_1,\dots,z_n)&=aS(x_1,y;z_1,\dots,z_n)+bS(x_2,y;z_1,\dots,z_n),\\ S(x,ay_1+by_2;z_1,\dots,z_n)&=S(x,y_1;z_1,\dots,z_n)a^{\ast}+S(x,y_2;z_1,\dots,z_n)b^{\ast},\\ S(x,x;z_1,z_2,\dots,z_n)&=S(z_1,z_1;x,z_2,\dots,z_n),\\ S(x,y;z_1,\dots,z_n)&=S(x,y;z_{i_1},\dots,z_{i_n})\\ &\text{for every even permutation }(i_1,\dots,i_n)\text{ of }(1,\dots,n),\\ S(x,y;z_1,\dots,z_n)&=S(x,y;z_{i_1},\dots,z_{i_n})^{\ast}\\ &\text{for every odd permutation }(i_1,\dots,i_n)\text{ of }(1,\dots,n) \end{aligned} \] for all \(x,x_1,x_2,y,y_1,y_2,z_1,\dots,z_n\in X\) and all \(a,b\in A\). \smallskip A necessary condition for a mapping \(h:X\times X\times X^n\to A\) to be \(n\)-sesquilinear-quadratic is given. Some results on the stability of \(n\)-sesquilinear-quadratic mappings in the generalized sense of Hyers, Ulam and Rassias are proved.
