    The authors treat the Schrödinger operator \(H=-\Delta+ V\) in \(\mathbb{R}^3\), where \(V\) is a real-valued potential satisfying \(|V(x)|\leq C\langle x\rangle^{-\beta}\); \(\langle x\rangle:= (1+|x|^2)^{1/2}\). Let \(P_{ac}\) be the orthogonal projection determined by the absolutely continuous spectrum of \(H\). (Assumption 1) Zero is an eigenvalue of \(H\). (Assumption 2) Zero energy is a resonance of \(H\). That is, there is \[ f\in\bigcap_{\sigma> 1/2}\{\langle x\rangle^\sigma L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)\setminus L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)\} \] so that \(Hf= 0\). They prove two theorems on the \(L^1(\mathbb{R}^3)\to L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^3)\) dispersive estimates for the time evolution \(e^{itH}P_{ac}\). Theorem 1. Assume that \(\beta> 10\) for \(V\), Assumption 2 holds, but Assumption 1 does not hold. Then there is a time dependent rank one operator \(F_t\) such that \[ \| e^{itH}P_{ac}- t^{-1/2} F_t\|_{1\to \infty}\leq Ct^{-2/3}, \] for all \(t> 0\), \(\sup_t\| F_t\|_{L^1\to\infty}< \infty\), and \(\limsup_{t\to\infty}\| F_t\|_{L^1\to L^\infty}> 0\). Theorem 2. Assume that \(\beta>10\) for \(V\), and Assumption 1 and/or Assumption 2 hold. Then there is a time dependent operator \(F_t\) such that \(\sup_t\| F_t\|_{L^1\to L^\infty}< \infty\), \[ \| e^{itH}P_{ac}- t^{-1/2} F_t\|_{1\to\infty}\leq Ct^{-2/3}. \] \(F_t\) is given explicitly.
