Minimal quasidifferential of a piecewise linear function in \(\mathbb R^3\) (Q558477)

The main result of the paper deals with pairs of polytopes in \({\mathbb R} ^{3};\) it establishes that for two simple polytopes with nonempty interiors and having only coparallel edges, any minimal common anti-summand is a polytope. As application it is shown that any minimal quasidifferential of a piecewise linear functional on \({\mathbb R}^{3}\) is a pair of polytopes.
