Die Reihe \(\sum x_n\) ist nach \textit{de la Vallée-Poussin} summierbar zur Summe \(s\), falls \[ y_n = x_0 + \frac {\sum \limits _{i=1}^{n}\binom {2n}{n-i} x_i}{\binom {2n}{n}} \] nach \(s\) strebt. Verf. gibt folgende einfache Formel für die inverse Transformation: \[ x_0=y_0; \quad x_n=(-1)^n \cdot 2\cdot \left [ y_0+ \sum \limits _{k=1}^{n}(-1)^k\binom {n}{k}\binom {n+k-1}{k}y_k\right ]. \]
