Der von \textit{Hahn} (1925; F. d. M. 51, 374 (JFM 51.0374.*)) bewiesene Existenzsatz für das Minimum bei ebenen Variationsproblemen läßt sich auf den Fall des einfachsten \(n\)-dimensionalen Variationsproblems übertragen. Verf. gibt die änderungen an, die zu diesem Zweck an der Beweismethode von \textit{Hahn} anzubringen sind, und erzielt auch im Fall \(n=2\) eine Vereinfachung.
