Verf. weist nach Aufstellung bekannter Grundformeln der Elastizitätstheorie (\textit{Beltrami}sche Differentialgleichung) auf durch Einführung von schiefwinkligen Koordinaten mögliche rechnerische Vereinfachung zahlreicher einschlägiger Probleme hin und gibt an, wie man in besonders gelagerten Fällen zweckmäßig auch andere Koordinaten, z. B. Zylinderkoordinaten, verwendet und damit große Vereinfachungen erzielen kann.
