The paper gives much information on the logarithmic integrals mentioned in the title. A recurrence relation is given and formulae which allow easy evaluation by symbolic algebra on a computer for integer and half- integer values of \(\nu\) and \(\lambda\). A comparison is made with formulae given in integral tables of \textit{A. P. Prudnikov}, \textit{Yu. A. Brychkov} and \textit{O. I. Marichev} [Integrals and series. Elementary functions (1981; Zbl 0511.00044)], \textit{A. Apelblat} [Table of definite and infinite integrals (1983; Zbl 0556.44003)], \textit{I. S. Gradshteyn} and \textit{I. M. Ryzhik} [Table of integrals, series and products (1980; Zbl 0521.33001)] and \textit{W. Gröbner} and \textit{N. Hofreiter} [Integraltafel. II. Bestimmte Integrale (1973; Zbl 0298.65016)] and by integrals given by the author [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 14, 319-344 (1986; Zbl 0591.65015)]. Tables of explicit expressions for the above integral for small values of m, with \(\nu =n\), \(\nu =n+\), \(\lambda =\ell\), and \(\lambda =\ell +\) are also presented.
