Infinite-dimensional algebraic and splittable Lie algebras (Q579391)

Let L be an algebraic Lie algebra of finite rank endomorphisms of an infinite-dimensional space V over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. The author considers the Chevalley-Jordan decomposition and the rational decomposition of endomorphisms of L and observes the splittable and algebraic hulls of L. Finally these results are used to study the structure of ideally finite Lie algebras of endomorphisms.
