Some extensions of triangularizability conditions are obtained. In such a way, it is proved that Radjavi's commuting trace condition is equivalent to triangularizability for a semigroup of finite rank transformations on a possibly infinite-dimensional vector space. Also, some results of Laurie, Nordgren, Radjavi and Rosenthal about triangularizability of a norm closed algebra of compact operators on a Hilbert space are extended. Compairing the algebraic and the operator theoretic results, in the end of the paper two questions arise.
