It is known that sets are one solution for knowledge representation: various semantic operations are implemented by means of set operations. The paper investigates the use of appropriate set operations to implement conjunctive and disjunctive information (i.e. compound propositions, where components are connected by the logical operation ``and'', respectively ``or''). In a concise but clear style, the paper analyses different combinations of compound propositions and their implementations as expressions over sets. Single as well as multiple variable cases are studied. The projection of all information about one particular variable and the implication statement are also considered in set-theoretic terms.
