In this interesting and well-written article, the author introduces a notion of metric entropy for time-discrete nonautonomous dynamical systems given by a sequence of measurable maps \(f_{n}: X_{n}\to X_{n+1}\), where \((X_{n},\mu_{n})\) are probability spaces and the \(f_n\)'s preserve the respective probability measures. The given definition forms the metric counterpart to the topological entropy defined by \textit{S. Kolyada} et al. [Fundam. Math. 160, No. 2, 161--181 (1999; Zbl 0936.37004)], by which it is bounded from above when \({(f_n)_n}\) is equicontinuous, as the author shows. Moreover, invariance with respect to isomorphisms, a power rule and a Rokhlin-type inequality are proved. Several aspects of the theory are demonstrated on examples, and a list of open problems is presented in the concluding remarks.
