The authors prove identities with Dedekind sums \(S(h,k)\) and Kloosterman sums \(S(m,n;k)\): For a prime \(p\equiv 1\pmod 4\) and a positive integer \(k\) \[ \sum_{a=1}^{p-1}\sum_{b=1}^{p-1} S^2(a,1;p)S^2(b,1;p)S^{2k-1}(a\bar{b},p)=\frac{(p-1)^{2k-1}(p-2)^{2k-1}}{12^{2k-1}p^{2k-4}} \] and \[ \begin{multlined}\sum_{a=1}^{p-1}\sum_{b=1}^{p-1} S^2(a,1;p)S^2(b,1;p)S^{2k}(a\bar{b},p)\\ =\frac{(p-1)^{2k}(p-2)^{2k}}{12^{2k}p^{2k-3}}+(p^3-2p^2-3p-1)\sum_{a=1}^{p-1}S^{2k}(a,p)-p^2\sum_{a=1}^{p-1}\left(\frac{a}{p}\right)S^{2k}(a,p),\end{multlined} \] where \(\left(\frac{a}{p}\right)\) is Legendre's symbol. Similar identities are proved for \(p\equiv 3\pmod 4\).
